The fill cam on the RTP 10i is designed to pull down the lower punches in the die boar to allow them to refill with powder before being dosed. This part is CNC'ed out of a block of brass and is designed to ware to avoid excessive wear to the necks and heads of your tooling.
If this part has been worn out of tolerance then you might find that you are getting inconsistent tablet weights or that you are not able to achieve the weights that you used to be able to.
You can check for wear on the inside edge of this part. If it is worn then it is time to change it.
This part is easy to change and will take a couple of hours. It is held in place by 3 bolts.
