We are looking for a fluent German speaking individual to join our team. Over the last 3 years Germany has been a growing market for us and we would like to better support it with a friendly individual.

You will need to speak German fluently and English to a high standard (fluency is not required). German does not need to be your first language but if you feel that you might struggle to explain that; “2 teeth are missing from the pinion cog that drives the worm gear” or “the compression forces required to compact the excipients are higher than first expected” then this might not be for you.

The role will comprise of answering emails and telephone calls primarily in German, however if you feel comfortable to do so you will also support the English team.

Customer enquiries will be mainly about sales enquiries, training and support for the machinery we sell. You do not need to have a great deal understanding of machines, you will be onsite with our engineers and over time they will help teach you. You do need to be good at both verbal and written communication to help explain the support from our engineers to our customers, from English in to German.

You will also be in charge of our social media again this will predominantly be in German but if you like also in English. We are currently on Facebook, Google+, YouTube and LinkedIn. It will; be your job to post to these sites, engage with people that might not have heard of us and grow the LFA Tablet Presses brand.

One thing that has been a big success for the UK and USA offices has been Google Ads. With support for our UK advertising team you start to become familiar with the Google Ads platform and over time create Ad content and monitor its success.

As well as supporting customers and engaging them you will be responsible for dealing with our suppliers. Once an order comes in from a customer you will need to send it to our suppliers and follow up on it making sure that we receive it. Once we have got the items you will need to book them in to our freight agents to send out to the customers.

Finally there will be some other small office admin jobs such as sorting mail, filling papers and general organisation.

The person that we will hire will be organised polite and hard working. We are a very small team that get on well and we want to make sure that the person that joins us is able to add to our work environment.

The position is a full time permeant position, Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm with 1 hour lunch break. We offer 28 days paid holiday and a company pension plan. We are offering £20,000 - £25,000 for the right candidate.
